About
Yutori Garden began as a feeling long before it was a place.
For years I lived the way many of us do - reachable, busy, useful, always a little behind. The kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix. And somewhere in all of it, I started dreaming of a quiet corner where a person could set everything down. Not a hotel. Not a resort. Just a small, honest place to breathe.
I studied rural tourism, and the idea never left me. For ten years I carried it, through work, through life, until finally I had the chance to build it. So me and my fiancé Evaldas did it, slowly and with care, in the open countryside near Molėtai. We put everything into it: a good bed, a warm sauna, a hot tub under the open sky, a pond, a garden still finding itself. Everything a tired person needs, and nothing they don't.
The name comes from the Japanese word yutori — a sense of spaciousness, of having room to breathe. That's what I wanted this place to give. Space. Quiet. Permission to stop performing and simply be yourself, the one who existed before the world told you who to be.
I built Yutori Garden while living inside the same tiredness you might arrive with. My hope is that you leave a little lighter than you came — that somewhere between the birdsong and the silence, you hear yourself again.
Welcome. You don't have to be anyone here.
